The Virginia gubernatorial election was the first big race following the 2016 presidential election, and all eyes were on Virginia voters as a sign of things to come for the 2018 midterm elections. Following the VA gubernatorial race, AAPC and the Postal Service joined forces to conduct a post-election campaign communications exit poll.

AAPC and USPS asked voters their behaviors and opinions on campaign communications:

  • What media influenced them?
  • Which mediums did they find credible, helpful, persuasive?
  • And most importantly—what motivated them  to go to the polls?

Join this webinar as we compare how different campaign communications channels – from TV and digital to door knocking and direct mail – build trust, persuade, and impact voters.

Speakers:
Liz Chadderdon, Chadderdon Lestingi Creative Strategies
Joseph "Tex" Dozier, JTD Strategies
Elena Neely, United States Postal Service
Steve Bassermann, Weber Shandwick
